Intro to DC circuits

The goal of this lab is to find the maximum length a cable can reach to maintain a voltage of 11 V across a Load.

Data:
R_load = 971 ohms
the resistance in the cable reached 98 ohms to gain a voltage of 11.01 V across the load
the currant in the circuit was 0.0113 amps

Circuit set up

                                                                        Calculations

The total length of the cable is 284 m but when you complete the circuit this distance will be cut in half so that the actual length would be 142 m.
